President and CEO - Larry G. Alberson

Mr. Alberson is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has been involved in the mortgage banking industry since 1972.

From 1976 to 1985, he was senior vice president of a nationally recognized mortgage insurance company, managing sales, operations and claim administration for the eastern region of the United States.

From 1985 to 1989, he was a founder and principal shareholder in a de novo mortgage banking company and after selling the company to a savings bank in 1988, he became senior vice president for all residential lending for the mortgage subsidiary of a large regional commercial bank.

In 1989, he started a mortgage insurance agency covering Virginia and Maryland for a newly formed private mortgage insurance company. In 1991, he became managing director and executive vice president of one of the country’s largest specialty service providers to the mortgage banking industry. His responsibilities included:

• Management of all sales personnel.
• Managed the sale of over $600 billion mortgage loan servicing rights.
• Participated in the sale or acquisition of approximately 65 mortgage banking companies.
• Managed corporate and portfolio valuation work for the company.
• Managed the sale of consulting services for the company.

In June of 1995, Mr. Alberson founded The Prestwick Mortgage Group, an investment banking firm specializing in the advisory and trading of mortgage banking assets. He acts as its Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for managing the firm’s mortgage loan servicing brokerage, merger and acquisition, and mortgage loan trading activities. Since its inception, The Prestwick Mortgage Group has successfully completed hundreds of mortgage banking asset transactions and is considered one of the leaders in this field.

Mr. Alberson possesses great management and sales skills specifically related to mortgage banking advisory. He has attained national recognition in this area of expertise and periodically lectures on mortgage industry related subjects.

Additionally, Mr. Alberson has been court certified as an expert witness in mortgage company valuation in the following cases:

• United States Court of Federal Claims Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and H. C. Bailey, Jr. et al versus The United States
• Circuit Court of Arlington County, VA First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation versus Greater Atlantic Federal Savings Bank, et al
• State of Michigan 7th Judicial Circuit County Probate Bernard J. Cason versus Tracey Cason

Executive Vice President - George Christo

Mr. Christo began his mortgage career in 1992 at one of the country’s largest specialty investment banking providers to the mortgage banking industry. During his tenure at this firm, he personally managed over one hundred servicing sales transactions ranging in size from $10 million to $1.5 Billion. He was also active in providing evaluation and consulting services to numerous clients.

Since joining The Prestwick Mortgage Group in 1995, Mr. Christo has played an active role in positioning the Company as a nationally respected provider of mortgage loan asset brokerage, evaluation and consulting services. At Prestwick, he has successfully marketed over three hundred fifty servicing portfolios, ranging in size from $3 million to $4.0 billion, and twelve mortgage companies. He has managed over eight hundred evaluation and consulting assignments.

He was a member of the faculty at the Accounting Issues for the Mortgage Industry Conference co-sponsored by the Executive Enterprise Institute and AICPA in June 2006. Mr. Christo was an instructor at this conference in 2003 and 2004. His subject was Valuation of Mortgage Servicing Rights: Complexities and Considerations for Accountants. His presentations also addressed servicing market pricing trends, assumptions, and history.

Mr. Christo is a 1993 graduate of the MBA’s School of Mortgage Banking. He successfully completed all three required courses and has earned the MBA’s AMP designation.
